The Hillman City Collaboratory is a non-profit, cooperative multi-purpose space shared by grassroots organizations and individuals who care about social change, creative expression, and community building.  The Collab is is housed on the first floor of a beautiful and historic brick building in the heart of the Hillman City neighborhood in Seattle’s Rainier Valley.   Learn more about using the space on the Partnership page.

Our mission is to become an instrument of transformation that provides space and programs specifically designed to create community and equip change-makers.

 The Collaboratory was founded as a joint project of Valley & Mountain and Community Arts Create.  We are always welcoming new partners, both individuals and organizations, who want to get involved in this exciting venture.
